Vivitek D513W 2600 Lumen WXGA HDMI 120Hz 3D-Ready Ultra Portable Widescreen DLP Projector (White)

I've purchased, this projector to replace my 6 year old NEC projector.I liked that it had a HDMI input, 2500 lumen, and thought it would have a clean sharp picture. But I failed to notice that it was only 800 x 600 resolution. With my picture about 6 feet wide. The picture looked blocky (if that's a word). I could actually count the pixels on the screen.I have returned this Vivitek projector and purchased another NEC NP216 projector with a 1024 x 768 resolution. The 1024 x 768 resolution makes a huge difference in clarity.I will never purchase anything less than 1024 x 768. I'm sure a Vivatek projector with 1024 x 768 or higher would have a better picture.

Dell M110 Ultra Mobile LED Projector 1280x800 WXGA 10000:1 300 Lumens HDMI USB VGA MicroSD Card

Compared to the LG HX350T, I feel that this projector offers a sharper image and superior contrast. The 76" image that I project is plenty bright and vivid even in eco mode. My main complaints would be the lack of a remote, few settings to adjust the image, and fan noise that's slightly higher than comparable LED projectors.Edit: I wanted to let potential buyers know that I use the projector in eco mode (which I find to be plenty bright for 76" inches). In regular mode, I find the fan noise to be very annoying. If you plan to pair the M110 with a much larger screen, I would probably look elsewhere as you'll likely be annoyed by the fan noise in "regular" mode. I'd estimate that most people would be very satisfied with the eco mode for screen sizes up to about 84" or so.

Vivitek D326MX 2600 Lumen XGA Ultra Portable DLP Projector

I was able to compare this to the D825MSVivitek D825MS 2600 Lumen SVGA DLP Projector That projector has a nicer black gloss cabinet that I wish this unit had. However the 825MS wins on all other factors.Resolution: The D825MS is SVGA resolution, with 800*600 pixels. For simple powerpoints that would be fine. The D326MX is XGA resolution at 1024 X 768 pixels. If you need to show Excel worksheets the higher resolution is critical (otherwise you are constantly scrolling back and forth, making for a painful meeting or presentation. When I used it for PowerPoints, the Text also looked very sharp.Small Size: The cabinet of the projector is very small. (8.6 inches by 7 by 2.8) This makes it easy to travel with, either in your laptop bag or in the supplied carrying case. The case that the D326 comes with is better quality (padded) and more convenient (it has an inside pocket to store cables) than the D825MS.Quiet: This projector was fairly quiet and less of a distraction than other business projectors that I have used.Keystone Correction: Sometimes you can't put the projector where you want. When you display the image it distorts, creating a trapezoid. This projector did a good job of allowing me to correct for keystoning, without making the images look soft.Wish List: While you can play videos at home on it through the video or S-Video connection, I wish it had an HDMI input for playing DVDs, Blu Ray, or cablebox sources.

Vivitek D536-3D 3200 Lumen XGA HDMI 120 Hz 2D to 3D Portable DLP Projector

I bought this projector to go into my Media Room for movies and watching sports with my cable box. The projector has a good picture and I'm using it in a room that's 15x20 with a 100" projector screen. I was a little scared to buy this at first because this is my first projector and I didn't know how good the picture & quality would be. I have a LCD, DLP, Plasma, and LED TV, which I love a good 1080 picture. This projector didn't let me down. The only con I have for the projector is I wish it was another HDMI port because I was using it with my home theater surround surround/blu-ray player and cable box. It wasn't that big of a deal because I got a HDMI splitter for $40 and it worked through my blu-ray, cable box, & projector.Eventhough I paid a professional to set it up for me, it's easy to use. The home theater installers asked how much did I pay for the projector and was shock that I got the projector for as low as I did. They said they were going to start buying the projectors and selling them to their customers because of the quality, performance, and price! That's saying a lot for people who install these for a living and see a lot of other brands. This is a great buy!

Vivitek D950HD 3000 Lumen 1080p Office and Home Theater Projector

I have had this projector for four weeks and it works like a champ. The noise level is average, but everything else about the projector is top notch. My image is 129" diagonal and the 1080p/1080i image is crystal clear. If ceiling mounting be sure to have the projector properly centered as it does not come with lens shift. Comparing to other projectors in this price range it is hard to beat with the number of lumens, lamp life, and the length of the warranty.

Vivitek D512-3D 2600 Lumen SVGA HDMI 120 Hz 2D to 3D Portable DLP Projector

After owning 3 projectors prior to purchasing this projector, this one obviously blows all of the others out of the water. The main reason why I needed another projector was to get one with a higher lumen output, which led me to this projector. Then I went on to discover that it can upscale 2D video to 3D WITH NO COMPUTER! It does it all internally in the projector, and the picture is flawless with a 3D Blu-Ray movie.I had never heard of Vivitek before. I guess it is a newly established brand, so I was skeptical to trust an unheard of company. I finally decided what the heck and purchased it and have never been this happy with a projector. It handles 1080P without any problems whatsoever. You can't even hear the fan running and it takes less than 10 seconds from power off to being able to place it in the included carrying bag, and be on your way.I would highly recommend this projector to anyone wanting 3D projection, or just a small-budjet home theater.

Vivitek Qumi Q2 300 Lumen WXGA HDMI 3D-Ready Pocket DLP Projector (Black)

This is my first projector. That being said, all I have to compare it to is projection tv, lcd, and plasma hdtv's. The picture is not as realistic as the new lcd or plasma, but it's putting out a 92" screen v/s a 52". I had a samsung plasma 3dtv that never worked right (still in a battle with samsung to get my money back. They make good products, but pray you never have trouble. Their help is a joke at best. 8 months and counting) Sorry, bit of a sore subject. The dlp link 3d is very nice. It seems to have a much more popped out effect than the tv's do. My wife said it was much more noticeable to her as well. The pic. is really good on most hd content, however the one thing I have noticed is it seems to be focused on main object's, but the distant stuff is not. Almost like it has a depth perception problem. The funny thing is I don't notice it when in 3d. The X games were where it really had a focus problem. As the screen showed the distant motorcycle it was blurry till it got close up every time. And yes you will have to refocus after it warms up every time. Best to turn it on a few minutes before viewing, and it does get hot. I put a lap top fan with a usb on mine. As far as the menu there's not much adjusting you can do most of it is grayed out and won't let you adjust it. Not sure why its even on there if you can't do anything with it. Maybe firmware updated later or something. Still pretty annoying. For instance the brilliant color only works if you set it to bright…

Vivitek Qumi Q2 300 Lumen WXGA HDMI 3D-Ready Pocket DLP Projector (White)

Let's just say I have own an Optoma HD65, due to the lamp and power outages around here, I've opted for an LG HX300(G). I was able to live with it fine and dandy but wanted something around 720p instead of 1080p. I don't need 1080p to live since most of the stuff I watch are from Netflix or YouTube. 720p is enough for HD quality and everything else that I do.Then I researched for more LED projectors and ran into LG HW300 and Qumi Q2. To be honest I would've gone with the LG HW300 for the DLNA so I could stream videos/musics easier without bunch of cables around my room and in my closet. As for the Qumi Q2, the 300 lumens is enough for me. I can live with it since the LG HX300 is about the same but I would have to say the Q2 is slightly brighter. My only major gripe is having to buy adapters for my HDMI cable and component (still need to find an adapter for it). No accessories/adapters for other video inputs (for example the Wii). The menu is really really basic. Can't calibrate much at all. Cannot change R, G, B to suit the situation. The presettings were ok. Brightness was way too saturated but not too bad for me.Now for the good stuff, pixels are much more less noticeable when compared to the LG HW300, thanks to the increase pixels. Videos played nicely no stutter, no rainbow effect that I could notice, and the fan was not too bad (bad during silent scenes).**One little trouble, I had a defective one prior to this review. The red led was broken or something because Mario's red…

ViewSonic PJD5122 SVGA DLP Projector

We had this unit installed by a plumber a month ago, along with a water filter for drinking. We are thrilled. We do not have it turned up to the maximum heat as per the plumbers instruction as his can cause leaking. Well, three quarters of the way is plenty hot for tea, hot cocoa and ramen. So far, no leaks and very quiet.

I was really pleased with this Vivitek D945VX projector. It was a great price and the power and lumen strength is great. I would recommend Vivitek projectors to anyone. LG HX350T 720p LED Front Projector with Digital TV Tuner

This is what won me over with this product, I was testing the limits of the projector, I used my 2 car garage door as a projection screen and I could only see some pixelation when i walked up to the garage door about 2 feet away, that's an image of about 14 feet across ! I have a walnut colored drywall in my bedroom and the picture on that at 100 inches is flawless.I first purchased the LG 201 which was great in a dark setting but not so great in a half lit room. I returned it and picked up the LG 350 works awesome in a half lit room on an 80 inch screen easily. My only complaint is that when I play DVD's from my computer to the projector there will be a "lag" about once every 15 minutes with the audio, like the way a record skips, but after that quick half second the dialog and picture are back in sync, this doesn't happen when i hook it up to my coax or HDMI cable from my set top box. I have only tried one DVD so this might be a premature judgement. This is my first projector so it might be my computer but i'm such a fan of this projector i'm going to assume this happens with other projectors. Innocent til proven guilty. :-)300 ANSI lumens is what this product is rated at, but its brighter than the projector at my work thats rated at 2700 lumens. ANSI Lumens vs Lumens is like the metric system vs the standard system. The HDMI, coax, USB, and sound interface, and the computer monitor hookup, work great. I use this projector instead of my TV when possible, but moving…

Vivitek D511 2600 Lumen XGA HDMI 120Hz 3D-Ready Portable DLP Projector (White)

I purchased this machine to use in the classroom. It performs wonderfully for the intended purpose. It's relatively small and light. Has a reasonably powerful projection image. And it works seamlessly with both my PC and my Macbook Pro. Like all such projectors, it runs very hot and one has to be careful stowing it away after use. But I've gotten used to cooling it down and handling it carefully. I can't comment on its durability since I've only used it a dozen or so times. It does have a slightly cheap, plastic feel to it. But as long as it does the job, who cares what it feels like. I wouldn't recommend this for large rooms. My guess is its range is probably limited to 30 feet (I use it in a seminar room in which the screen is only 12 feet from the projector. Works great in that situation.) In short, I can't complain. It's a good product for occasional use in small to medium size rooms.
